We are the Booster Club · Weston, Connecticut

Back the Stage.
Build the Future.

The Weston Performing Arts Booster Club is a parent-led nonprofit that funds music and theatre for students in all four Weston, Connecticut public schools — Hurlbutt Elementary, Weston Intermediate, Weston Middle and Weston High. We turn parent generosity into instruments, guest clinicians, festival fees, a $500 senior scholarship and stage time, from a first violin lesson to a final curtain call.

Why it matters

The arts don't fund themselves.
Parents do.

Budgets cover the basics. They rarely cover the moment that changes a kid's life — the solo, the new instrument, the trip to competition. That gap is exactly where we work.

01 / Access

Every student, every school

From Hurlbutt Elementary through Weston High, we fund across the full K–12 journey — so no performer ages out of support, and no program gets left behind.

02 / Opportunity

Grants & scholarships that land

We've awarded $5,000+ in program grants and a $500 senior scholarship — real dollars that buy instruments, sheet music, clinicians, and festival fees.

03 / Community

Parents, acting as one

We're 100% volunteer-run. Membership is just $30 a year and every dollar flows straight back to Weston students. Show up, chip in, and watch it multiply.

Questions, answered

Everything parents ask.

What is the Weston Performing Arts Booster Club?

We're a parent-led, volunteer nonprofit that raises and distributes funds to support music and theatre education for students in every Weston, Connecticut public school — Hurlbutt Elementary, Weston Intermediate School, Weston Middle School and Weston High School.

Which Weston schools do you support?

All four. We fund across every grade level so students benefit from the first time they pick up an instrument through their senior performance — nothing falls between the cracks.

How much does membership cost?

Just $30 per family per year. Membership is optional (anyone can attend meetings and events), but dues are what fuel the grants and scholarships we award each year.

Where does my donation go?

Directly to Weston students: instruments and equipment, competition and festival fees, guest clinicians and masterclasses, stage and production support, and our $500 senior scholarship for a graduating performing-arts student.

When does the club meet?

On the first Monday of most months at 7:00 PM via Zoom. Meetings are open to all Weston families and are announced on our calendar and email list.

How do I join, donate or volunteer?

Start with membership, make a gift on our support page, or email info@westonperformingarts.org. Volunteers are always welcome at concerts, fundraisers and events.
